Happy Monday (No, really!)

What's cookin'? Nothing gourmet in this house, that's for sure! Mondays are all about quick and easy...

New Whole Foods find!
...but healthy of course!


I thew together some roasted zucchini and yellow squash tossed with garlic salt and pepper as a side dish. Nothing fancy, but it worked. And I even had time to prep tomorrow's breakfast while the squash was roasting. Boom.

Despite broken sleep and a toddler with an upset tummy, I managed to get out of bed at 5:00 am for my first day of Focus T25. (More about this later in the week...) I had an audience during my workout, but I guess it wasn't exciting enough to stay awake for...


T25 Cardio was no joke! I was dripping sweat when I was done, and I felt amazing! 25 minutes of all out effort, and done before you know it. I went off to work feeling accomplished, and ready to take on the world.

I was dragging by mid-afternoon, but I managed to rally this afternoon for a decent 4-mile run too after I put the aforementioned (pictured) sleeping beauty to bed for the night. I'm in the beginning stages of training for my end of August half marathon. (More about that at a later time as well...)

And now here I am, eating Kashi Go Lean out of the container, watching last night's episode of Mad Men on Amazon Instant Video, and drinking sparkling water. All in all, not a bad start to the week.
